Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, our friendly Safari Trails representative will greet you after assisting with immigration and customs formalities. You’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Overnight stay in Nairobi.
After breakfast, we depart for the scenic Great Rift Valley and the world-famous Lake Nakuru National Park. Following lunch, set off on an afternoon game drive, where you can spot both lesser and greater flamingos creating a pink carpet along the lakeshore. The park is also home to over 400 bird species, white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and a variety of other wildlife.
If staying at Lake Naivasha, enjoy the peaceful waterside setting and incredible birdwatching opportunities. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp in Nakuru or Naivasha.
After breakfast, travel through the picturesque Great Rift Valley landscapes en route to the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by leisure time.
In the afternoon, head out for your first Masai Mara game drive—home to the Big Five (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino) and countless other species including zebras, gazelles, topis, and Maasai giraffes. Dinner and overnight in the Mara.
Start the day with an early morning game drive to witness the wildlife at its most active. With a bit of luck, you may even spot a predator in action during a hunt. After lunch at the lodge, set out again for an afternoon game drive, maximizing your chances of seeing the Big Five and other fascinating creatures. Dinner and overnight in the Mara.
After breakfast, check out and enjoy your scenic drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in time for lunch (at own cost) before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight—taking home unforgettable memories of your Kenya safari adventure.
